When I go around trying different shisha places, I start noticing all kinds of little things—like, hmm the flavor’s kinda off, or the vibe isn’t quite right, or the staff feels a bit unfriendly…
And if I get more specific, sometimes the smoke level doesn’t suit me, or the location is a bit inconvenient. Other times, the shisha itself is just okay, but the comfort and atmosphere are insanely good.
Out of all that, finding a place that makes me think “this is nice” is already rare… and finding one I want to come back to again and again is even rarer.
I think choosing a person is kind of the same.
For the people who choose me, I want to really listen to what matters to them, understand it properly, and also share what matters to me sometimes—so I can create the best possible time together.
That’s probably one of the nice things about this kind of work—having lots of chances to connect with people, with a lot of freedom in how we do it.
And being chosen as someone they want to see again… that’s honestly such a happy thing 🍀
Hearing “I like spending time with you, Midori” would make me way too happy 🤭
